In the fourth round, the Lions made a trade with the New England Patriots to move up and they took Alabama defensive end Da'Shawn Hand with the 114th overall selection.

The 2018 National Football League draft has come to a conclusion and the Detroit Lions think they have done everything possible to improve their rushing attack.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announces a pick by the Detroit Lions during the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft at AT&T Stadium on April 26, 2018 in Arlington, Texas. Feel free to contact me if you have any article suggestions. Hand had a minor incident this past summer, as he was charged with driving under the influence when he fell asleep in his parked vehicle. "I don't think we've been the most balanced offense the last few years, right?" The question will be if he does or not.

In Round 5, the team plucked offensive tackle Tyrell Crosby out of OR with the 153rd overall pick.

Amir Khan stuns Phil Lo Greco with blistering first-round knockout
I'm not going to say he's a bad fighter, he's a very good fighter, and he won a world title, so you have to respect that. Amir Khan has destroyed (32-4, 20 KOs) his opponent Phil Lo Greco (28-4, 15 KOs) in less than a minute.

"It's a seventh-round pick, so it is what it is". If these hold true, I would not be surprised if he earns himself a roster spot.

I watched Johnson play quite a bit this year and he was one helluva a college back, but he played in an offensive style that will be much different then the one he will be asked to play in the NFL. After following Detroit through both the Martin Mayhew GM era (2009-15) and current regime of Bob Quinn (2016-), the differences are clear. Tall and slender build with good speed that scored well in testing. During the Quinn era, the first round selections have been offensive line and linebacker, two positions of need. Get to training camp and we'll have a very physical training camp. I for one am beyond excited for what this will bring.
