On Friday, Farquhar collapsed after he began vomiting in the dugout during the sixth inning of the White Sox game against the Houston Astros. He was taken to the hospital not long after and, as reported by The Chicago Tribune, is being treated in the intensive-care unit at Rush University Medical Center under the case of Dr. Demetrius Lopes and the Rush neurosurgical team.
According to USA Today, Farquhar will remain under the close supervision of neurosurgeons for at least the next few weeks while he remains hospitalized.
