Netflix's 'House of Cards' final season trailer released without Kevin Spacey

A trailer for the new series of House of Cards has been released - showing fans exactly what the final series will look like without Kevin Spacey.

Production on series six of "House Of Cards" was paused when sexual misconduct allegations were made against Spacey previous year.

The trailer first aired during last night's Oscars ceremony, simultaneously being released on YouTube. She turns around and says, "We're just getting started", as the words, "All hail the chief" flash across the screen. The latest clip from the season shows that the focus has been shifted to Robin Wright's character - Claire Underwood. Neve Cambell who played Leann Harvey in two seasons of the show is not coming back.

Netflix removed Spacey from the show earlier this year following allegations of inappropriate behavior.

But, the California Democratic Party was not in favor of making her as a candidate to fight against the Republicans this time. Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who is courting more moderate and even conservative voters, won 9 percent.

Netflix resumed production on House of Cards at the end of January, and it'll be interesting to see how writers explain away Frank Underwood's absence.

Season 6 of House of Cards is expected to premiere on Netflix this fall. There were unconfirmed rumors past year that Spacey's character would indeed be killed off, enabling Wright's character to take over.
