Eagles DE Bennett facing felony injury of the elderly…

Former Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett turned himself in to Harris County (Texas) court Monday afternoon on a felony charge of injury of the elderly relating to an incident at the Super Bowl on February 5, 2017.

According to Houston police, Bennett broke through a locked entrance at the stadium to try to get onto the field to see his brother Martellus, who played for New England in its comeback win over Atlanta.

The charge, which includes "intentionally and knowingly causing bodily injury to a person 65 years or older", carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

The court imposed a no-contact order for Bennett with Tatman, the complainant, meaning Bennett is not permitted to contact her. That is what Bennett allegedly did to a wheelchair-bound NRG Stadium employee.

Authorities issued a warrant Friday for the arrest of the three-time Pro Bowl player, who is accused of injuring a paraplegic woman as he tried to get onto the field at last year's Super Bowl to celebrate with his brother.

Loyola rambles on into Elite Eight
No small accomplishment for a team that struggled for decades following a Sweet 16 loss to Patrick Ewing and Georgetown in 1985. There has been no reason it can't be Loyola through an entire MVC season, Arch Madness and three NCAA tournament opponents.

A British policeman, Detective Sergeant Nick Bailey, was also poisoned as he went to assist the pair. Ambassador Alexander Yakovenko called Britain's actions were "a provocation".

Hardin said Bennett will remain in the Houston area for a few days, visiting family.

Eagles defensive end Michael Bennett is out on bond after being charged for a crime his attorney adamantly says Bennett didn't commit. "Because this is an ongoing legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time", the team said in a statement on Friday.

Roseman said the Eagles did not know about the Houston incident when they traded with the Seattle Seahawks for Bennett on March 8. Similar to how Acevedo spoke publicly about Bennett Friday, the Las Vegas police union ripped him in a letter to National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell previous year.

Bennett plans to surrender at 1 p.m. CT at Harris County District Court, according to his agent, Rusty Hardin, who relayed the information to the USA TODAY via text message. "I suspect people think they know this guy, but this is one of the nicest guys". "People have the right to present their side".

Hardin added: "I can tell you that Michael had nothing to do with anything that happened with this lady they're alleging".
