When is the Fortnite season 3 Battle Pass release date?

Well, the Season 3 Battle Pass for Fortnite Battle Royale brings the usual additional rewards for reaching tiers throughout the season. Apart from the standard Outfits, Pickaxes, Emotes etc. you'll be able to unlock new types of collectibles: Back Blings, Skydiving FX Trails, and Loading Screens. You'll receive a handful of goodies right out of the gate including the new Mission Specialist Outfit.

After initially buying the pass players receive a number of items and can they then receive more rewards by progressing through the different tiers which is achieved by playing the game.

Season three's Battle Pass will be space-themed, so it's rather fitting that Epic has chose to take their loot system to new heights by adding thirty new tiers to it. Sounds like we'll have to play a lot more to get the real goodies, doesn't it?

If you have completed Season 2's Battle Pass or you're just finishing a few things up, you have today to do it. Season 3 runs from February 22 to April 30 so players will have plenty of time to get this next Season Pass completed. As Polygon highlights, you'll need to spend around $150 if you want everything without having to play at all.

It's worth reiterating that everything in the Battle Pass is purely cosmetic and won't have any impact at all on your in-game performance (no pay-to-win here).

The studio has posted a breakdown of how Season 3's Battle Pass will work.

As of writing, it is unknown when the Desert Eagle will be added into Fortnite for Season 3, or if the proposed character will be exclusive to Battle Pass owners. The reason that fans know about this is because once players logged into their "Fortnite: Battle Royale" accounts, they received an update message. Well, because of all of these complaints, Epic Games, who is the developer of this game, have chose to try and make it up to fans by not only fixing some of the weapon issues but by also adding new weapons.

The SMG has become the first weapon to be moved into the vault, meaning it is no longer available to use in the game.

Meanwhile, game patch 2.5.0 has been applied recently, and this is true for Fortnite in all gaming platforms - PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
