Dow Jones DOWN: Is this the beginning of United States stock market crash?

Jan 30 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks were set to open lower for a second straight day on Tuesday, with Dow futures down about 200 points, weighed down by a rise in bond yields and a drop in shares of healthcare companies.

Shares of healthcare-related companies dropped after Amazon.com, Berkshire Hathaway and JPMorgan said they plan to form a venture aimed at lowering healthcare costs for their U.

They were the worst performers in the S&P 500 a year ago and led the index lower today, each falling around 1 percent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 26,076.89 for a loss of -362.59 points or -1.37%.

The Federal Reserve's two-day meeting ends on Wednesday and its statement at 2 p.m. ET (1900 GMT) could shed light on the central bank's economic and interest rate hike outlook.

U.S. markets have suffered a second day of steep losses, as investors dumped health care companies and Apple. Concerns are starting to enter the market that inflation could be catching up and higher interest rates could pour cold water on the bull run.

The Nasdaq composite climbed 9 points, or 0.1 percent, to 7,411.48. By notching another month of gains in January, the Dow and S&P 500 are on track to extend their win streaks to 10.

"The clear message from these results is that we have these negative headlines about the iPhone 10 but it's of course not the only client of AMS", Moeller said, referring to a JP Morgan note last week saying iPhone X orders are weakening, which had hit the stock. Microsoft and Facebook were both up more than 1 percent ahead of their results after the bell.

USA stock index futures drifted higher late on Tuesday as Trump gave his State of the Union address. Pfizer Inc (PFE.N) was down 3.1% despite its better-than-expected earnings and upbeat 2018 guidance.

The Russell 2000 is down 33.08 points, or 2.1 percent.

Declining issues outnumbered advancers on the NYSE by 2,388 to 539. Drug stocks such as Eli Lilly and Merck slumped on Wednesday, while the iShares NASDAQ Biotechnology ETF retreated 1%.
