Boston Herald pulls Brady hold-out article over questions about source

The Boston Herald released a statement Friday afternoon addressing Ron Borges' column from earlier in the day, which appeared in the Friday edition of the paper.

Seriously, he actually wrote an entire column based on that text chain.

The WEEI radio hosts claim "Nick from Boston" tricked Borges into writing fake news. However, just to put a cherry on top of this incredible story and make it that much better, Borges was on Twitter last night telling people to "do their homework".

Nick from Boston even provided as proof the text message he exchanged with Borges while pretending to be Yee. Turns out it was easier than he thought.

Hyundai Santa Fe Will Make You Feel Safer
Besides the Kona , Hyundai will also be evaluating the possibility of an electric version of the Xcent compact sedan. It keeps an eye on "the rear seats to detect passengers and alerts the driver when leaving the vehicle ".

The article was quickly debunked by others on the Patriots beat Thursday evening, and on Friday morning, it was revealed that it was not Yee that Borges was in communication with, but a WEEI caller playing a prank on him. Well, it's all amusing but here's the funnier part: He tried to call me three times and I just didn't answer. He wanted to talk to Don Yee, though, and the imposter said they actually had a brief phone conversation where he pretended to be Yee, and told him "run with it or don't". "But I called him and I was just like, 'Hey, Ronnie, it's Don'". Amazing. Every now and then, we need someone to put these holier-than-thou big J's back in their place.

Borges indicated in the column that he had multiple sources.

The Yee impersonator also purportedly said that "12 was not going to return unless McDaniels was named the head coach in waiting", which also made it into Borges' column.
