Saudis, allies discuss Iran ahead of Arab League meeting

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir told an Arab League meeting in Cairo that his country would "not stand handcuffed" in the face of what he called "Iranian aggressions".

The Arab foreign ministers' final statement referred to Hezbollah as a "terrorist organization", a branding that drew reservations from Lebanon, according to the head of the Arab League, Ahmed Abul Gheit.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he will meet French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris in early December to discuss threats against Israel from Hezbollah and Iran and "ideas to stabilize the situation in Lebanon".

"Iran s biggest arm in the region at the moment is the terrorist Hezbollah arm", Sheikh Khalid charged.

He said his country was targeted by a total of 80 ballistic missiles fired by Yemen's Shiite rebels since the kingdom in 2015 formed and led a coalition to fight them alongside forces loyal to the internationally recognized government there.

Ghassemi also described the Arab League´s statement as "untrue" and urged Saudi Arabia to "immediately stop its savage aggression against the Yemeni Arab people" and "stop its pressure on Lebanon, Qatar and the entire region".

This latest flare up between Saudi Arabia and Iran was sparked by a November 4 incident in which Iranian-supported Houthi rebels in Yemen fired a ballistic missile at Riyadh's global airport.

Lamar Odom Collapses At Los Angeles Night Club
However, Lamar's rep told TMZ that it wasn't due to alcohol - but said he collapsed due to dehydration after an intense workout. Odom had suffered a near-death experience in 2015 when he was found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel.

The Arab League accused Hezballah of "supporting terrorism and extremist groups in Arab countries with advanced weapons and ballistic missiles", in its declaration. He alleged, "Iranian threats have gone beyond all limits and pushed the region into a risky abyss".

Iranian forces have played a key role in backing the regime of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad in its war against the rebels and ISIS.

Lebanese foreign minister Gebran Bassil -a member of the Hizbollah-allied Free Patriotic Movement and the Lebanese president's son-in-law - did not attend the Cairo meeting. PM Saad Hariri, a Sunni leader belongs to Future Movement.

He said that Jordan considers the security of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain part of Jordan's security. Saudi Arabia and Hariri both deny those accusations.

Recently BBC has carried an investigation on how USA and its allies shifted Daesh terrorists from Raqqa, Syria and the way they didn't allow Russian Federation to bomb the fleeing terrorists from Raqqa. Senior Lebanese politicians close to Hariri also said he was coerced into resigning. "(Iran's) missile program poses a danger to the region", said Aboul-Gheit.

"Stopping them requires a joint Arab policy".
