Apple fires engineer over daughter's iPhone X video

Peterson's video of the iPhone X had instantly gone viral with multiple channels and sites uploading the content again.

Brooke Amelia Peterson explains in a tearful video how her father was sacked because of her uploaded video after her dad violated the company rule by letting her shoot the video. Those include a Note app on the iPhone X containing QR codes that are meant to be accessible to only the Apple employees.

"On Tuesday, I woke up and my iPhone X video was going viral", Peterson said in a new video.

Around the world, Apple fans posted images and comments online on Friday about how they were planning to get their hands on one of the $999 (or more) phones. My dad was a privileged engineer who worked on the iPhone X and he had one. But then Peterson posted another video explaining what happened.

In a followup to her original iPhone X video shot on Apple's campus, YouTube vlogger Brooke Peterson claims her dad has been fired by Apple over the incident. It turns out that this didn't exactly fall within Apple's employee guidelines, so the engineer has reportedly been let go.
