Moto Z2 Play official renders leaked

Overall it looks very Moto Z-ish. Optics include an 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and LED flash and a a 5-megapixel sensor front-facing camera with display flash feature. A leaked image of the Moto Z2 Play has surfaced online for the first time showing the device from nearly all angles, thus giving us a good look at what Motorola plans to bring in the Moto Z Play's successor. As a matter of fact, in an interview with Lenovo, the company stated that "consumers will start to see Android Nougat on Moto G4 Play in June". Among the growing library of peripherals are high-end cameras, external batteries, speakers, projectors, and even physical keyboards. Moto Z2 Play is expected to pack an SoC somewhere around the Qualcomm SD 652 series, a mid-quality display with lower resolution than in Moto Z2 Force. Till date, Motorola released only two phones in 2017, and they are the Moto G5 and G5 Plus with a similar design. And the overall frame is slightly thinner.

The Moto G4 Play is the most affordable than its elder kins - Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. I wouldn't expect much of anything besides a processor upgrade, however; the original had 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a 1080p display. June seems a little early for the Moto Z2 Play. The handset will most likely feature a 16MP back camera.

It should also have fantastic battery life. Motorola couldn't have squeezed a really big battery into that slim body. There is no news regarding the official launch date of the Z2 Play.

It shows that the home button of the Moto Z2 Play has gotten a slight makeover, perhaps to make it look more like the budget-friendly phones, the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus.

As with the Moto Z Play, the sequel will also support Motorola's Moto Mods accessories, snap-on accessories for the Moto Z line that add different kinds of functionality.
